Could El Salvador ever join the USA as a State?

This Country already uses the Dollar as currency , much of their money comes from Salvadorians working in the states , They have troops in Irak and are sending more, When you go there you see many US flags in trucks and cars (don't know why) , They have an strategic geographical Position and soon a US air base . etc .

Answer:
there is no limt in the us constitution on what area is approprate for the creation of a territory. If El Salvador became an american territory it could then become a state by vote. You would be welcomed i belive.
good lord NO
you mean they are not ??
i thought the CIA had bought the place
Man Even Purto Rico is not a state, but a territory.. State has a lot of political power and stuff. I mean USA getting from El Salvador everything it wants, so why take it?!>
El Salvador is a sovereign, independent nation. The country and US do have strong military ties since the 1970's when Nicaragua was in the midst of a leftist civil war. Both countries feared the spread of socialism (and Cuban influences) in the area. Now, Daniel Ortega, Sandanistas, has become president of Nicaragua again which means El Salvador is a strategic, military ally of the US.
they can wish they are americans all they want but they arent american
LMAO so does Australia, should we annex them too, you stupid *** honky
