Get a job as a Registered Nurse in Canada..why is it so difficult?

mean I am a foreigner guy of 27. I have Nursing degree in Brazil, I have tried over and over to get a job as a RN in Canada.. but They put too many barries to work there. However in the US , many hospital have a team of attorneys in order to fix your papers. Why does it happen?

Answer:
While Canada truly needs qualified nurses, their standards are rather rigorous and any immigrant applicant must basically re-qualify before their licence will be issued by the Canadian College of Nurses. Legal assistance here does not extend to influencing the governing bodies of medical practitioners.
The USA is somewhat less discriminating in that regard and a few well placed dollars can work miracles when it comes to qualifying.
Canada has higher standards. Just because you were a nurse in Brasil doesn`t mean you are one here. Go back to school then re apply in 3 years.
We decided a few years back (in the US) to up our visas for nurses to I think 40,000 a year, due to need. We didn't change our medical standards, just the allowance. However, we know we need nurses, and we are glad to have them.

Maybe more people in Canada become nurses and they don't need as many. They don't have as big a population, so right there they probably don't need as many.
