I got an interview letter from USCIS but I don't have my finger printed yet. why?is there anything worng?

You need to state what type of interview you are having for us to help. Is it your initial interview for I-485? or final interview. First I would double check uscis.gov to ensure you paid the correct fee. Wait a few days the fingerprint letter may also arrive just stuck in mail due to the holiday. Or call the 18003755283 and find out if the letter is on its way. If not, then when you call tell them you want to set up an appointment for fingerprinting and biometrics ASAP perferably BEFORE your interview date. I am in the last stage of processing I filed my I-751 a month ago, had my prints and pic taken now waiting for final interview

Interview letter for what? If you think you need a fingerprint taken, make an appointment to get it done.
yes you should have your fingerprints taken 1st what does the letter say if your not sure call Immigration toll free number should be on your letter
Happened to people. Could be done after interview. It will deay the whole process though, since FBI checks can not be started without fingerprints. (Name check can be, but I guess there is some procedure for fingerprints alone). You tell this to the interviewing officer and they will give you an appointment.
You're supposed to have the fingerprints done before the interview. However, you shouldn't worry too much about it. My husband's fingerprints were lost twice and he had to get them redone again and again. You can get these done after the interview but it will cause some delays. However, even if you pass the interview you'll probably have to wait anyway because there is a huge delay on the FBI background checks.
