Permanent Residents don't need any visas to return to the US because the Green Card itself is an immigrant visa. Please make sure that she comes back before the 180 days are over from the date of her departure. If she is planning on leaving for more 6 months, that can affect her US Citizenship later but no problem returning to the US. If she is planning on leaving for over 1 year, she has to apply and obtain an advance parole from the Immigration Service before she leaves the US. I suggest that you should contact a qualified immigration attorney if her trip is for over 1 year period.
