I've been trying to get on the Immigration and Naturalization website...?

but it keeps redirecting me to a advert page and at the top it says page not found. Is the website down? I would really like to file for my citizenship it's been a dream of mine since i was a little girl

Answer:
If you have been a resident for 5 years or more, you can apply for your citizenship. Their website is http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis...

The application for Naturalization is N-400, but read instructions carefully. Remember you have to have permanent residence (green card) for a certain time before you apply for your citizenship.

You can also call them 1-800-375-5283

their website is not down, your computer might have a problem
http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis...

use this.
it's www.uscis.gov. They just recently change the site and it's really screwed up now, some gov. contractor made a fast buck and left it in shambles.
Thats nice, I hope things work out for you, by the way, are you here illegally, or there doing the process legally..???
