You can try. I did hear of a case being brought by the family of a man who was killed by an illegal alien who had previously been arrested for another crime but not deported. Those were pretty specific facts though, and I didn't hear how the result went.
On the other hand, Colorado is bringing a law suit against the federal government for damages due to the federal government's failure to enforce.
I have a sneaking suspicion they won't win, but it makes for nice fireworks.

Well technically you can sue for just about anything, and you can represent yourself should you be unable to find a willing attorney.

I suppose it depends. Has there actually been an "invasion" of illegal aliens? But let's assume that the number of illegal aliens entering our country has risen, has that had an effect on the sovereignty of our nation? Not that I've seen - we're still a sovereign nation under God and government. Groups that would enter illegally with the intent of undermining our government are terrorists and not simply "illegal aliens." Now, with regards to the role of our government in "protecting" us from illegal aliens: Our government has taken many steps to increase border security and to ensure an equal process for citizenship and the security of the benefits of citizenship are in place.

This is America, you can sue anyone for anything. Will it go to trial? Depends on your laundry list of actual damages their presence has caused you.
Better think long and hard about your precious tax dollars though. Frivilous lawsuits cost us a fortune.
you can sue anyone for anything but keep in mind that even though this lawsuit makes total sense and should be a no brainer the gov. would face many more of them if it went anywhere.

It is also selling off America in secret. The latest is to sell our toll highways to foreign countries. It protects illegal drug dealers and does not protect it's citizens from illegals. We have taxation without representation. All legal citizens are good for is fodder for their wars and tax money for education and health care for illegals. Now the government wants to give illegals social security while telling legal Americans it is running out for them. I say impeach them.
