Native Americans?
Answer:
The world is comprised of races that have either our numbered or fought for their piece of America. Some are more aggressive than others .Some became intermingled and joined together. It was as it is today the survival of the strongest .Not so much in physical strength but in drive, attitude and work ethic.
It is the natural order of things in my mind..
I don't feel that the native Americans were bad. They were only doing what human nature demands of us.
To go forth and conquer
and to be able to defend what we take.Only the strong willed
will survive and flourish. The settlers to this land were also doing what nature demands of us.The strong did overcome all obstacles to become the dominant power.
Probably so, but then again, in those days, there wasn't much of a moral compass to go by. Unlike the 2nd wave Christianity.
so what would you like them to do? Give their little reservations and casinos back to the white man?
They may have pushed them north but they weren't killing them.
So smarty pants where did the Eskimos come from? Prolly from France too.
I saw that program too; what you fail to mention is that the ancestors of the Native Americans didn't come in a "wave" as white settlers did centuries later. They came in a trickle over many centuries - maybe even several millenia - and (so far as we know) did not take over lands already belonging to someone.
Ask the Israeli lobby leader Abrhamoff about the Native poor Americans.
I highly doubt these first Americans came from France. They were noted for their loyalty and bravery. They could never be French.
First time I've heard of that theory. They probably have as much actual evidence for that as they do for macro evolution. I might could beleive the na's came from South America, but I think France is highly unlikely.
i have never seen this program. i watch alot of history channels. please show your link to verify this.
Yeah, so?
Interesting, I guess, but why does it matter where they came from?
I don't believe that for one minute, it's your prerogative to believe what you want, though. It makes more sense to me to go with the scientific research pointing to the migration of Native Americans from Asia, over the frozen Bering Straits just after the last Ice Age. They were following the mammoths and it was over many thousands of years that they settled in North America, about 15,000 to 35,000 years ago. It was a gradual movement. They didn't PUSH the Eskimo out, the Eskimo are a part OF them. That particular group of people stayed in Alaska, others moved further inland and eastward. There are Native American tribes and clans all over the USA, Canada and some probably even went into what is now called Mexico.
There were no civilizations on the North American continent where the USA is today. Those Native Americans lived in harmony with nature, lived off the land, only took what was needed for survival, did not deplete the land nor the wildlife. They used all parts of an animal when they killed it. They used the hides, skins, pelts for blankets, clothing, home coverings. The meat was food, the bones used for weapons, tools, ornamentation.
If you go to a Native American reservation and talk to them, you will find most are very friendly people. You will also notice how the older ones look Asian, many of the young show the Asian features, although not as pronounced as the full-blooded Asians straight from Asian countries of today. Today they are mixed with European. Naturally, generations of conflict, intermarriage, disease, and famine would influence the genetic makeup of modern Native Americans, as would be true of people anywhere.
Today we have laws. There were no people to issue laws when the Native Americans came to North America. Paleolithic man has nothing to do with immigration/illegal immigration today. It was not 'immigration' then, it was natural 'migration'.
Your question is straying from the issue of immigration today.
No.
