What Country would u choose??

If u were to choose a Country to live in by next week, wixh one would u choose?? Canada or USA ?? and why??

Answer:
Canada without hesitation! Especially the west coast. I have lived here all my life and I can boast that it is beautiful, peaceful, friendly. Multiculturalism is highly respected, as is diversity. The crime rate is lower. And it is exciting. Vancouver is rated one of the best cities in the world to live in. I agree. Also, the winter Olympics are coming in 2010.

It's not perfect, but on a balance of all things, I think it is the best place to be in the whole world!.

When it comes down to it, this is my home. And what makes it my home is more than just the fact that it is Canada. My whole life is here. I feel blessed that my life is in such a wonderful place, but I am not ignorant enough to assume that I would not be happy living elsewhere (even the US...shudder :)).

Consider what is important to you and how that fits in with where you chose to live. What kind of business do you do? And can you do that in Canada? Canada has lots of inovation and commerce. But does it suiut you?

What about family/friends? Are they important to you and how will where you live affect them? And so on. If the only variable that is different is the country, in the end, does it really matter?

You can't really go wrong either way!

Also realize that both Canada and the US are very large countries with lots of regional differences. Living in Vancouver is very different than Toronto, for example.

Of course, I still say Canada all the way!
Well USA owns Canada, doesn't it?
Spain.
Mexico
The USA. Canada seems like a great place to visit but not to live.
USA...it's where I was born and raised and all my friends and family are. I might move to the Balkans (I was stationed there in the air force) but not Canada.
The USA. This is my nation, as far as I am concerned not only is it cowardice to run away, but there is nowhere to run to. You can knock this country all you want and all I can say is that if you wish to leave go ahead as that will just make it better here.
The United States of America is my home, I would choose no other. We are the best.
Canada..... The diverse female population of canada, ESPECIALLY TORONTO, is unheard of.
USA hands down.....we may have the worst of the worst but we also have the best of the best, there is no other place like us on the earth.
more people try to get into the USA then ALL the other countries combined...that should tell you something...
USA but i love Canada too.
I love the USA, so no better place to be than right here.
I would stay here, I am an American first. But I was told something funny about Canadians by a friend (Canadian), that a Canadian was nothing more than an "unarmed American, with great health insurance".
Canada, easily.
i want to move to Reykjavik, Iceland!
oh please.

Everyone has this romantic vision of Canada being so freakin grand and intelligent.

Bulls***.

Canada is a great place, and they're friendly, funny-talking neighbors. But Canada is stagnant. Does anything new, dynamic, or exciting come out of Canada? Who creates all the things in the world (for better or worse) that makes live easier for the entire globe? Internet, automobiles, cartoons, movies, so-on-and-so-forth.

Sure, some countries can make those things better (Japanese make better cars and cartoons), Germans make the best electronic music.

But who gave RISE to innovation? Where did those things ORIGINATE from? Which country, out of any other in the world, has created so many things that have benefited humanity so quickly? Only the US, because only the US has the brainpower and freedom that allows fresh ideas to grow from all sorts of people and from all walks of life.

Yeah, Canada is cool. Glad their our neighbors. But the USA all the way baby!
HUH???
I already live in the USA---but I would go to Canada because of the National Health system.

I pay $38 a week for health insurance.....but between me & hubby 4 doctor visits with bloodwork cost $1700 OUT OF POCKET---because our deductible is $2000.....

If I have to pay $4000 more in taxes, I would come out even.....
And that doesn't COUNT my medication!
Depends on where you are from and how long you want to live there. I love my country (US) but if it were for a short period of time (like for university, or a two-year work assignment) I think I'd try Canada for a change of pace. For permanent residency though I'd choose the US.
I have lived here in Canada for over 50 years and my work has me involved with immigrants from every corner of the world.
You will be welcomed here and given every opportunity to be proud of your heritage while enjoying the benefits of living in a free, peaceful setting.
The USA tends to look down on immigrants (legal or Illegal) and is reluctant to let them into their core society. You would find yourself on the fringe.
Canada's major cities usually have districts which are particularly ethnic which we view as a charming entity which brings a welcomed international flair to our lives.
America is threatened by enclaves of one particular people. It's almost a national paranoia there.
Should you choose Canada as your new home you will be welcomed with open arms.
Not so in the USA...as you can see by some answers our American neighbours left when answering this question.
Canada = no Mexicans. My answer....Canada.
