a friend just went through the process. she filed in october, and had her meeting in april. after that...i think it was still a number of months before she could work. i'd give it 9 months to a year before she can move here and get a job. of course, she could move her sooner if you two can make it without her working.
I hate to tell you this but a friend of mine also married a Mexican . And it took several months for her to be able to even come over the border. Now her is here and has been for a year but still doesn't have her permanent green card yet. They have been married for over a year now and still she has no green card. I have to give you all you just deserves for going about this the legal way despite the long drawn out process. And not making your spouse a statistic in our immigrant problem.
