Dutch and mexican wanna be able to be together, how can we??
Answer:
Well the easiest way, but maybe not the wisest, would be to get married. Will make it easier for the other to emmigrate to the other's country.
Most colleges have a teach abroad option for students that have degrees, so you two could teach English together in another country while you decide what to do. The best option would be to marry and then try to get status in his country.
your could find a neutral country...but that's going to be so expensive. why can't he come to mexico? it seems like you both have fairly workable countries as far as immigration goes...at least it's not the US! i have been through the same situation with my boyfriend...he's mexican, speaks english, spanish, french, italian, and german. i'm from the US...and there just wasn't anywhere we could make it work...besides mexico. i have a masters degree in english, so i was already working there when i met him, so i just stayed. but now i'm back in the US and basically our only option is to wait until we are ready to make a serious commitment and get married. i hate to tell you that...everyone wants their relationship to be normal, but with people like you and i, it's just not going to be that way, because of the legalities. i really feel for you, and i'm sorry about your situation. my best advice would be for him to come to mexico and use his english as a beginning point for getting a job. if he's not willing to do that, your just going to have to wait until you two are ready to commit seriously, like marriage.
oh yeah...working in mexico...if he wants to do that...it was fairly easy for me. i came in on a simply tourist visa. it took about 45 days for the papers...so he needs to bring some cash to last him..until the FM3 goes through. i was hired by a university (i did the whole process online!! and it universidad panamerica. i also know tech de m. hires online), and they provided the lawyer i needed. he needs to get the job first, and the company will do the paperwork. he will have to pay for it....i believe mine was about 1500 pesos. and that was it! not too bad, and i was able to work for a year, and then after that, i had the choice to keep renewing it. after 5 years, i could have become a citizen, with our without my boyfriend.
i hope this helps and gives you some ideas
