Not in the US. But there are many very poor people in Mexico. The real question is, why isn't anyone asking the oil-rich Mexican government what is it doing to take care of their own? The hyper-corrupt Mexican government supports illegal immigration to the US, as illegals turn around and inject (send) billion of dollars every year into the Mexican economy.
They do exist on their side, but not here, they have welfare.

No, as a matter of fact I have always wondered if their so poverty stricken why is there so many fat ones. I have been to Mexico several times and they have some porkers over there, how can that be if they are all so poor.
To llJennyll right above me, how about going to "poverty in USA" while your studying. And it will get worse with all the illegals draining our government. We do have plenty of poverty right here at home.
PS You want to see poverty, take a look at Africa, you don't see any well fed people there.

Bravo to you for helping that American family! We need to help our own countrymen and women FIRST and then we can look to see what else we can do for others in this world. Mexico needs to look after their own - they are NOT a poor country! Why should our tax dollars support THEIR poor, when they are NOT a poor country and should be looking after their OWN poor! As long as there are rich Mexicans in Mexico, we should NOT be looking after their poor people! Our government should not even be sending any financial aide to Mexico because it obviously doesn't get to the people it is meant for as it goes into the pockets of the already rich there and their corrupt government. Mexico does NOTHING to help discourage their people from going to the USA illegally, in fact, they encourage this! They should ALL be ashamed of themselves for stealing from us while taking advantage of our overly indulgent generosity to them! No, to answer your question, I have never seen a malnourished Mexican illegally in the USA. I am certain there are some in Mexico, same as we have our poor, hungry here in the USA. But, our poor should be OUR problem and their poor should be THEIR problem!
