Why do Hispanics not value education?
Answer:
That is not true, I value my education dearly and do good in all my classes. I am an all A's student, honors, BETA club, Debate club, and involved in other extracurricular activities, I plan to become a lawyer so I can help out people in their time of need, don't say stupid statements like that, because it isn't true. Every illegal that I now wishes they can get an education like the one offered to all USA citizens.
Your generalizing. I'm Hispanic and I value education dearly.
I am Hispanic and I value education.
whoa Nellie...who says that? I have been all over South America and have as of yet to see anyone not value education.the problem is AFFORDING it.and if you know anything about the country's in South America.that isnt always possible.so thanks for the blanket statement...
I sure wish people like you would include a link to where you got your facts. Otherwise, this is nothing more than a bait question.
One of the reasons hispanics come to America is our educational system. I guess if you had applied yourself in school you would have learned to ask better questions.
They do,and more so if it's "free"!
That is not true. Many are struggling just to make ends meet and don't have time or resources to get education, and that is not a uniquely hispanic phenomenon by the way.
Does Mexico not provide education for it's people? If not, Mexicans need to kick some Mexican behind.
That could explain what's wrong.
haha dumbest question I've heard in a long time. . .if you don't know I'll inform you, the ones you talk about, grew up in areas where education was expensive and hard to get. In areas where education is available, it is actually harder and at a higher level than here in the US. (eg. the math students take here at the 10th grade level, the kids in Mexico take at 7th grade!) . . . now since i know you're talking about the Hispanics here, ill answer that for you. For one they don't take the education for granted, hence the push for the Dream Act. . . Now think about this for one second, Anti's complain about some Hispanics being uneducated and bla bla bla, and when they do get educated they complain that we use up their resources!!?? sounds to me that you guys have to get your story straight, do you want uneducated hispanics, or not!?
Stop generalizing. Plenty of Hispanics value education.
.
Your comment is not only erroneous but also extremely biased. If I am to assume that in your asking this misguided question you know your intellectual limitations and are seeking to gain more knowledge, I am going to suggest that you take the time to get to know some of the people you are speaking about.
Obviously YOUR not the one who value's education because you asked this idiotic question.
Education is an important part in Hispanic culture. My mothers family is Spanish so take it from someone who 1. is Hispanic 2. is educated 3. has double legacy at Dartmouth ... we do.
Reading a book does not make you smart. My father was taken out of school when he was in the 3rd grade to work on the fields by his parents. This happen in Texas not Mexico. I have a college degree. I am now 58 and I can still say he is smarter than me and alot of other people.
There are few things worse than generalizing..
I'm mexican and I've proven you wrong just now, I can speak spanish, english, french and a bit italian too, don't believe me? check my questions and answers, oh, and guess what, I'm underage
Think things a bit more before generalizing again please
This isn't helping the anti illegal cause. Playing the race card makes you no better than the pro-illegal people.
You are ignorant to make the false assumption about Hispanics.
Do not generalize! That is one fraise my English college professor used to tell us all the time. I myself came from Mexico and here in the U.S. is so easy to obtain an education as compere to Mexico. You can get many grants and scholarships. You can also apply for all different types of loans. In Mexico it is more difficult, and I believe that in other countries down south are the same.
Do your self a favor and never generalize, OK!
Do you actually know any Hispanic people? Do you live under a rock? You truly have no clue.
once again not all hispanics are the same. Some have a great career others don't. The same can be said for any race. Some are more fortunate than others.
