Yes but the wall should be built out of denied support. I believe if we denied the illegal ones jobs here, denied them free health care, deny them to attend our public schools, welfare, social security and free legal service to protect their illegal rights?...that alone would be the kind of wall we need. We wouldn't need a (wall of China) fence if we quit rewarding them for breaking the law and deport them when they do.

Yeah, it may work for awhile but sooner or later they will find a way, they always do.
Sharon has it right. We really don't need a wall, and we don't "new" legislation. We need to boost the border security with more INS/ICE personnel, and we need to enforce the laws currently on the books regarding landlords, employers, and the illegals themselves. Shut them off from the system, and we don't have to deport illegals...they'll leave on their own. STRICT enforcement is the answer, not some piece of crap watered down amnesty bill.
If the government would strictly enforce our current laws and make it illegal to give them any benefits, and repeal the 14th amendment (being born here gives automatic citizenship) they would go home and only terrorist would try to sneak in.
It will be dismantled like the Berlin Wall.
