I don't think that at all and most people here have never even met an illegal person, you are not going to convince them of anything because they are perfect and have never broken any laws themselves.

And even if there were not money drained from the schools, there simply aren't enough school rooms and credentialled, quality teachers for the huge flood that comes illegally. You may be married to an illegal, but you just don't want to see how much harm it causes.

It is a matter of the law being followed. The illegals have wrecked the construction market. Young kids cannot do construction work anymore, since the illegals will do for cheaper. There is a system that needs to be followed. Laws are made for reason. A lot of the illegals are wrecking social security and tying up the health care system. I do not know where you live, but where I am from this has happened. I am glad your spouse is a productive person. Why couldn't he follow the legal guidlelines for entering the country though? Plenty of people do it everyday and it is not that hard to do.
An illegal goes to IRS and gets an ID number to work..

Granted not all mexican illegals are bad people. They are trying to make a better life for themselves here in the U.S.A. However, there are so many that are doing bad things and people aren't blind they see illegals committing crime.
Selling drugs, driving brand new cars, stealing, killing, and other stuff. Did you know that 12 americans are killed by illegal's every day in this country? add that up for a year multiply it by another 10 and you have a number in the tens of thousands.
I want them the hell out of my country, let them apply and do it the right way. I don't want amnesty granted to any of them i don't give a damn who's yard or house they are caring for i want them to show me they can seek citizenship the legal way not do an end run around the freakin law.

if he's illegal then he has committed a crime by being here illegally. go to his country. tell him to fill out the proper paper work to be legal in the states.

When I lived in Cali, I knew lots of illegals. Most of them were very good people - honest, hard-working....but there were also quite a few who should be deported. Drug dealers, wife-beaters....we have a hard enough time keeping up with our LEGAL citizens. Illegals should not even be an issue.
When I lived in Cali, I could not find a good job because I did not habla. That, my friend, is total BS. I think everyone should know a 2nd language - I took YEARS of French. Imagine how I felt to realize I took the "wrong" language.

So what are the facts that you know better than most? You failed to provide a single fact.
Fact: The states incur great expenses in dealing with illegal-caused crime. As if it's not enough that the nationals commit crimes. A lot of the illegals commit state crimes, causing financial burdens to the taxpayers. Federal court in border states are overwhelmed. It takes millions a year to run a court house. Attorneys (State and Defense), judges, and assorted support personnel cost money to operate. They are swamped with illegal defendant caseloads. And many defendants then have the nerve to request that as punishment, they be sent back to their home country. I'd like to see the rest of the world sending Americans back to the US for having commited a crime elsewhere.
Fact: The healthcare and educational systems are a huge drain of state monies. California (the illegal inmigration state, fyi) has one of the most expensive educational system, yet it ranks among the lowest in the nation in terms of performance.
Have you ever seen how Mexico and other Latin-American countries deal with their own illegal inmigration? In a word, very harshly. I don't know your US citizenship status (I suspect you two are not really married, or you're not legal yourself), but try entering Mexico illegally, and you'll see what happens if you get caught. Most immigrants from Mexico want to be Mexicans in the US.
Fact: They are not seeking assimilation. Remember their demonstrations this past summer? They were carrying the Mexican flag, in US soil. The nerve is just mind-blowing. They want their language, their culture, their barrios, their music, their way of life, but with all the benefits and safeguards of the American system, inside the US. If they want all of the above so badly, why don't they go back to Mexico, or wherever they sneaked in from?
Fact: Illegal immigration is the importing of poverty, pure and simple. I don't see any highly skilled individuals coming in illegally across the border. We have enough poor, uneducated people in the US already. We don't need anymore.
Granted, there are illegals from many other countries living in the US, but no other place is behind such illegal invasion as Mexico is. The US government should sue the government of those countries for US monetary expenses incurred due to their illegals. But I can't think of a single American politician ballsy enough to propose it. Now, Mexican politicians have balls. Lots. They demand the US stops prosecuting (albeith half-heartedly) their Mexican illegal immigrants in the US. If that's not meddling in the United States affairs.
If I broke into your house and demanded you share your food, clothes and other goods of yours, I'm sure you and your illegal husband wouldn't approve. He may even exercise his right, under the US Constitution, to protect his home and property. Isn't life in America great?

Every employee (since 1986) is required to complete an I-9. And a Taxpayer Identification number is NOT an acceptable document. Who how did he complete an acceptable I-9 without the appropriate documents?

So bottom line is your illegal alien husband is either lying to you or falsifying a federally required document (see 18 USC 1001 & 1002 - upto 5 years in jail).
And if you are a US Citizen then he could easily get a green card unless he has a criminal record.
If you are a legal alien, then you could apply for status for him and possibly get him a Employment Authorization Card (EAD).
So your story does not add up. Why don't you tell us the truth?

It doesn't make a continental d@m how hard your husband/bf/partner/whatever works, if he pays taxes or doesn't pay taxes. He entered this country illegally, therefore he is a criminal.
He needs to go back to wherever, take you with him and stay until he can enter the LEGAL way.
