Are migras allowed to pursue fleeing suspects, let alone shoot them?
Answer:
Some people are confusing the "law of the jungle" with the "law of this land". In video games, at KKK and Minuteman meetings and at the zoo where chimpanzees throw their warm waste at visitors, one might possibly regress back to the "law of the jungle" and forget that decent people do not want to shoot anyone they don't have to. Are these bigots and weirdos suggesting that it's righteous to shoot people in the back for crossing the border or running drugs? They sure aren't real Americans if that's the case. How did people get so stupid?
NO, they aren't.
They are allowed to pursue but under no circumstances are they allowed to shoot an unarmed suspect.
Silly isn't it ,it should be shoot to kill maybe that way we could
emulate what the Mexican Border Guards do to those who try to
enter Mexico illegally.
You gonna try and stop me? Go ahead I need the warm up.
If in a life or death situation, hell yeah, blow their heads off, the problem is that many times, you have no idea why they are running, it could be they are just illegals, and then again they could be wanted felons in the states wanted for murder or a violent crime. I say they should allow K-9 units to pursue them (on our side of course), and once caught, then they can verify why they ran, and all they suffer (poor babies) are just a few bites, but no lead in the butt. I bet if they knew K-9's were ready to chase, they could come try and over less..???
YES they should shoot to kill, they should lose pay if they miss.
A criminal is a CRIMINAL!!!! If they shot MORE of them, there would be LESS of them sneaking over here!!!! I say we REWARD our BP agents!!!
he was not fleeing. he was running towards america. the border agents do not deserve to be in prison. they was doing their job.
Well, that is an interesting question. Because if they aren't, why on earth aren't they, and whose side was the person making that decision on?
A little discussed provision of the fence bill signed last year, at least in the version I saw, called on Homeland Security to investigate what those rules were and to explain why they should exist. I also saw something about the border patrol being given Coast Guard type powers, and I believe it was passed into law, but I couldn't swear to it.
If drug runners can just run back across the border when seen, what sort of enforcement do we have?
