According to the illegal invaders there is no such country as "America". So, I guess our country's 'leaders' will be United States (of Amerca(n) citizens voted in by the majority of United States (of America(n) citizens. (we don't have 'rulers', we rule ourselves by voting). I don't think any one country will rule the whole world.
China if anyone. They can have over 300 million troops and tons of millions of people for arms production. Hitler only had 4 million troops. and look what he did.
Due to nationalism no one nation can Rule the world unless they kill of the populations.
Israel. Though some say even now it is indirectly ruling using America as a puppet.

Actually, if you are thinking in economic terms, the Euro is really far more powerful than either the american dollar or the loonie: has been ever since the beginning of the "war on terrorism".
Then again, many of our products are imported from so called "developing", third world, or neo-industrial nations, like China, Taiwan, Indonesia, and Korea. Did you ever stop to think what your life would be like if you didn't have all those things? Chances are, you would have no cell phone, no iPod, no computer, no furnature, no soap, etc. Pretty miserable life.
Many movies and tv shows today are filmed in Vancouver. Much of the beef you consume probably comes from Alberta, Manitoba, Sask, etc. France exports much of the world's cheese.
So, does America really rule the world? Take a moment and think about what America would be like without the rest of us.
I think a lot of of American citizens are being killed in the war in Arabia.
