I have filed for canada immigration I want to know the status of my file?

It is nearly 1 year 6 monts since I applied for the immigration I would like to view my application status

Answer:
You can go to this website and enter your file number or receipt number and check the status of your application https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/?app=ec...
Check from where you filed your application.
My husband is also filing for Canadian immigration (I am Canadian). We go to this web page - https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ols/ols.do?l... and click on the first link... To see the status of your application. and enter the proper identifying information. Failing this, if you applying from within Canada, call your local MP's office. If you are applying from outside Canada, I'm not sure, but I'd start by calling the Canadian Embassy, and they should be able to direct you to the proper people. If you can't see the above link, just google "canadian immigration" (it should be the first link, click on it, select your language preference, and then at the top, click on "on-line services".
