Does anyone know about deportation?

I have a friend from Russia who was here in NC and this girl he knew got him deported back to Russia recently and I am worried about him. Just wondered if anyone knew what he might be going through. We called him Ginny and loved him dearly. I wonder if there is any way I could get a message to him and tell him we miss him and think of him often? As for the twit that did this to him, her *** is mine! What a horrible way to return someone's love!

Hello,

I have seen this happen time and time again in my country.
I had a great actor, musician and playwrite friend who's girlfriend ratted him out on an unfair tecnicality and he was deported back to Chile. I did what I could to help, saw some MP's but unfortunately he left everything till the last minute and next to nothing could be resolved.

All you can do is keep in touch, try and locate his extended family and maybe a group of you can get together, let him re-apply to return and sponser him. It is a lot of time and big paper work, especially after a deportation but being persistant may pay off eventually.
Be sure to keep tabs on that girl "if !"she is in the wrong. Whenever she slips, smokes a joint, fudges figures on her taxes etc, let the police or IRS know. Let her have a taste of the terror that the poor chap went thrugh. If she's into other cultures or mail order husbands be sure you caution them whenever they show up.

OK, but in the case of my friend, he was brought in on a work visa (into Canada) to sing at an Italian restaurant. The visa is strict saying you can only work for that one empoyer and no one else. The bum who owned the restaurant dressed like a New York pimp, had a Cadillac, Mercedes et al. The problem was that he had a bad habit of not paying his empoyees and bouncing rubber cheques. My friend was in a real bind, couldn't pay his rent and bills so he had to quietly moonlight elsewhere. His girlfriend after two years had some quarrel with him and ratted him out to immigration. The deportation process here can take several years though because of a series of appeals you can go through.

To answer your question, he's banned from returning to the United States for at least 10 years. You should consider staying out of the matter unless you know all the facts.
Illegal immigrants need to be deported, they are costing the taxpayers too much money.
What a B***! how could some one do that.
If he wasn't on asylum, so don't worry about it, he'll be fine.
If he was illegal, tough ****. Our nation is too crowded already - time for less people.
If he was here illegally,he needed to be deported!
If he was sent back to russia already, call him and give him your message your self. now, if he was recently sacked up and he is the process of being removed you can probably even go visit him. You need to find out what detention facility he is being detained in. once you find that out you can call the facility and go from there.

being deported has to suck, but, he was here illegally and he must of known that it was only a matter of time before it happened. Immigration did away with giving out court hearings so most likely your friend will be sent back to his country in the next couple of days.
