Canadian citizen in USA losing H1-B status while I-130 pending?

Hi,

While living in Canada, I married a US permanent resident who was in Canada for studies. I was offered a job in USA. I sold everything in Canada. I entered USA on TN1 visa and then got H1-B.

In July 2002, my wife filed an I-130 for me. (current processing dates are March 2002).

My H1-B expiration date is at end of April 2007.

I will be out of work at the end of January 2007, therefore my H1-B status will be lost.

Me and my wife have two USA born children, and we own propery in the USA.

What are my legal options to remain in the USA while my I-130 is processed?

thanks much.
