Student visa question?

My friend from India (Delhi) has applied for a student visa. He has his I-20, he has more than the recommended first year of money plus future money and he has land and all kinds of family in India. He's married but they are not together and she's not going to come with him. His embassy appointment is next week and I read a transcript from the embassy in Delhi where an embassy worker said "the majority of student visas are approved" - anyone have any feedback on this? I've heard everything from it's easier to get a visa to heaven than to US from India to it's not a big deal. Anyone know "which is it?"

Answer:
It will happen, or it won't. There is nothing you can do to impact the decision. Simply wait and see.
People do get them. I don't know out of how many who try, but if he has all of the qualifications, I don't see why it shouldn't be him!

Good luck to him!
