What kind of visa does my wife need to apply for?

I am a U.S. citizen. My fiance is not. We live in her home country. After we get married, we want to spend a few months in the United States with friends and family. What kind of visa does my fiance need to apply for now?

Answer:
Whatever kind it takes so she has to pay tax while she is here like the rest of us.
Apply for a tourist visa for your partner since your fiancee will just stay for a few months in the United States. Subsequently, you can apply her for a US citizenship as a wife of a US citizen.
maybe a tourist visa, or maybe Spouse of an American Citizen visa. If there is a an American Consulate in the country you are residing in, just call and ask them.
If she will still be ytour fiance' when you travel a fiance' K1 visa is best BUT you must get maqrried within 90 days of arrival in the US. If you will be married at the time, apply for an immigrant visa based on marriage. IF you have no intention of residing in the US, apply for a tourist visa but be forewarned, this visa is sometimes very difficult to obtain...it does depend on what country you live in and the nationlity of your fiance'.
A K-1 BUT you will need to file a petition with the immigration department.
