Are any of you legal mexican-Americans anti-illegal immigration?
Answer:
There are definitely legal Mexican-Americans who are against anti-illegal immigration. I watched a documentary about a Californian town who's elections were completely pro and anti immigrants on PBS not that long ago.
I have to assume some are, there is an organization called 'you don't speak for me' against illegal immigration, and the heads of both the Illinois and Utah chapters of the Minutemen are Hispanic.
Sort of.
My parents went through alot of work to get us here legally and i know that crossing the border illegaly is wrong, but those people are coming into the U.S to work. They dont come to terrorize Americans but they come here to earn a better living than they ever could in Mexico.
sure there are gangstas and whatnot, and yes they are annoying, but chances are that their parents came over not to pollute society but to work.
They are trying to improve their way of life.
the downside to that is that you cant really choose who comes over, whether they be coming to work or if they are just thugs.
its just the way things are.
No most Mexican Americans are like most Americans. They understand what it is like to do whatever you can to provide for your family. So no they are not against undocumented Americans just criminal republicans like everybody else.
Good question. There are some legal Mexicans that are against the illegals.I bet they do not have brown skin.I still say most of the legal Mexicans are fair or white skin. They are educated and have the money to come over here. I am Mexican-American. I was born in Texas.I love my Azetca Indian heritage.Yes, I am for all of you cabrones.May God bless you and help you become USA citizens.
No,I'm not.Mexicans aren't the only race that have migrated to USA.If you're not Mexican,Cuban, Puerto Rican,Guatemalan,Colombian,etc... are you called Latin here in the USA?Why are we all categorized Latin? And I haven't even mentioned the Irish,Italians,French,Persians... all human beings and no one is better than the other.Just remember that if you're ever in need of a blood transfusion We All GIVE BLOOD,it just might be a Mexican who saves your life.Food for thought.
The great divide in this planet is not men vs. women, or rich vs. poor, or white vs. black, or legal vs. illegal.
The great divide is light skin vs. dark skin. Wherever you go, be it India or China or Egypt or Mexico or Brazil or Italy or Slovenia or Togo or Mozambique, the light-skinned people hold most of the power.
Thus, light-skin gives a person a huge advantage in whatever his/her society: access to better health care and education, access to better jobs, economic and political power, etc.
Such people find little trouble moving around, and that's why most legal immigrants coming from Third World countries belong to the "light skinned" elites from those countries.
The paradox, the tragic irony, is that it's exactly the other people, the darker-skinned ones, who are denied opportunities in their own societies and would like to leave for better places. Yet, they are denied such privilege.
