UK Resident Work Permits?

Hello, I'm currently living in the UK because I'm studying here. At the moment, I'm looking for work and have a residence permit and national insurance number. The thing is that any time I'm applying for a job, I'm asked to write my type of work permit. Does anyone know where can I find what kind of work permits there are? Because my visa just says: 'Able to work as authorised by the Secretary of State'. Would you please help me? Cheers!

Answer:
If you are a UK Resident all you need to show them is your passport where it states you are able to work in the UK.

But if you want to clarify this talk to the UK Visa Section

NB. Please do not send passports to UK visas as we do not accept them.
