I understand that Wells Fargo has been doing this for awhile and BofA has just followed suit
Could be they're starting a new trend. Watch other banks follow suit soon.

Just another benefit for entering our country illegally, could it be the caucasian male and free enterprise in America that causes a cancerous disease for money. Why do we sell out so easily?

I doubt it.
I mean there are those that are trying by closing their account, but just as I was told by Verizon when I got into a billing dispute once, "We have other customers...do you want us to close you account or not" That is a quote from on eof their CSRs...needless to say I am NOT with them anymore.
Corporations do not care about the RIGHT thing...they only care about wha twill make them more money.
If we really boycotted every business that was shady...we couldn't buy anything. And, on top of that...they feed off each other and the money that they make on us as single consumers doesn't compare to what they make off the deals that they make off other corporations.
So, really what do we do.

I do the best I can...I am still one of those people that will pay more to buy from my local stores rather than Wal-Mart...I do what I can.
I think its a really bad idea to offer credit cards without complete documemtation and social security numbers to illegal immigrants in a post 911 world
This is a really bad idea from Bank of America in my opinion and when its examined they will be very embarassed in my opinion
