I have advance parole (I-131) and a pending green card application (I-485). I know an advance parole is valid for 1 year multiple entery but I was wondering what could be the maximum duration I can be outside US continuously without hurting my green card application? Is it 1 year or less? Please let me know. Thanks.

After 1 year you're status as an immigrant is considered to have been abandoned.
Do you actually want to live in the United States? Why did you immigrate if the first thing you want to do is go back?
