How hard is it to get a tourtist visa from Manila to the United States?

I live in the Philippines and I want to get a tourtist visa to come to America. How difficult and how much time would it take for me to get a tourist visa?

If you can prove nonimmigrant intent, i.e. that you have something to come back to, it shouldn't be too difficult to get a visitor's visa. But young, unmarried adults from poorer countries with no job and no significant property often have trouble proving that they have something to come back to. Don't make the mistake of going to great lengths to prove you have friends in the US that you're going to visit. That proves you have a reason to GO, it doesn't prove you have a reason to COME BACK.
