I think the LEAST DIVERSE states are against immigrants.
States of great diversity, like New York, don't have a problem with that because they are exposed to a wide variety of cultures and customs everyday.
The least diverse states aren't accustomed to so much different races. Some people think that all immigrants came to America illegally and it's just wrong to think that.
America is the country of great diversity and we should be proud of that.

Wherever the most people have this state of racism in mind reside. It's not a very smart state to be in.
This could be any number of places (unfortunately). It's difficult to make a generalization. One issue is that the mix of immigrants is different from state to state. Also, the division of resources and opportunities vary from state to state and within a given state. All of these things, and more, create a climate that is hospitable or hostile to new comers. Besides, why bother arguing over degrees of racism or any unjust treatment? It's wrong in all it's forms!
