Now, it is a fact that the annexation of Texas and the southwest in the war with Mexico was a raw land grab, nothing more. It was unjust and the reasons given for war were a joke. Many Americans refused to pay taxes at the time because the war was so clearly unjust.

Since most cities and states have Spanish names...California, Colorado, Los Angeles, San Francisco...I guess you just need to deal with it, or learn Spanish.
