Can illegal aliens join the National Guard?

I know there are some fighting in the war. Can we join the National Guard too? I heard in some of the southern states, the National Guard helps at the border. I would like to do that.

No. If someone has told you that illegal aliens can join the National Guard they are lying to you. You CANNOT join ANY branch of the military if you are not a United States citizen.

Non citizens can join the military and can receive citizenship for a successful tour of duty with the military. Can't be illegal thought because you can't sign an enlistment contract, take an oath etc, if you are ILLEGAL. Look up that word, illegal and you can see that it means there are lots of things you cannot do. If there is some military unit that is using illegal aliens to patrol the border I would sure like to know who that is because those folks need to be dishonarbly discharged. The world ILLEGAL is something to learn.
