In the Mexican-American side.
Against terrorists and communists, such as Cubans in exile or blockaded, or .. radical islamofascists.

Well, I am not a Mexican, but mexico would be screwed in the war, and since we are giving them labor, without a SS # or any type of identification, thyd fight for the US. ALL ILLEGALS NEED TO GO BACK TO THERE HOME!
You wouldn't expect the mexican immigrants to fight against their own would you.
I am not sure, Mexico is my native country. On the other hand, I love America a lot, it has provided me with a great education that can't be found somewhere else. Hopefully, this will never happen because Mexico has a great chance to loose. However, it's not in the U.S. best interest to invade Mexico because of the language barrier and the cultural differences. They would be better off accepting cheap labor.
My parents are El Salvadorian (naturalized citizens and I a US citizen) and if I had to fight against El Salvador I would do it because the USA is my country and the one and only I owe my loyalty too. Of course the reason would have to be valid ones...any reasonable individual would do that.
I don't know that Mexican Americans have to do with illegal immigration, or immigration (in general) for that matter.
Can't answer that, it will never happen.
