This is not a hard thing to do. Millions before have done so. It is not impossible. All that is required is for one to be willing to obey the laws of the country that they are in - legally or not - which if they are illegal they do indeed need to become legal if they are going to continue to live here.

You should call the military recruiters because I think they have a program where you can obtain your citizenship while serving. My husband was in the Army and I remember people that had joined because they loved America and wanted to serve for them and obtain citizenship while doing it.

There should be an immigration legal clinic around the area you are from and he or you could call them and see what they say without telling them any names. I'm suprised he has gotten through school without a ss # though.
He can join the USMC without any paper work. He can earn citizenship that way. Look it up it is a process that has been happening with our military for more then 100 yrs.

well if they came here illegally its gonna be really hard. first to have to hold a green card for a year. to get that he needs a sponsor. or they need to hire lawyers to try and get them legal. this is very costly.the only easy way for him to the the papers is for him to get married. then he can join the corp and work on getting his parents legal. i brought my ex wife's family here from France they where all french they came on working visa legally but overstayed them. this made it harder to get them they're papers even though my wife was a citize. it took us years to get it all taken care of good luck
The answers you've received so far have been a combination of idiocy and sound advice. The sound advice is to get an immigration attorney. Immigration law is a maze of regulations that's as difficult as tax law for a layman to try and figure out. They should be able to tell your friend the risks, if any, of applying for an adjustment of status.

His PARENTS should have thought about these things before coming here illegally.
Parents must provide a good home for ther children; therefore, coming to the USA illegally with a child and risking the child's life should be a crime. He is in the country ILLEGALLY, that's it.
