My Chinese girlfriend is pregnant.Want to marry her here in USA. But baby will be born before visa is issued.?
Answer:
Do not trust this board. Get an attorney. USCIS does not enjoy splitting families up. Sometimes they have to do it, but if you play by the rules you may be surprised at how easy the whole process will be. The best way to navigate that process is by engaging an immigration attorney.
I don't think it matters, The baby will be an American no matter where it is born, and your GF will still have to go through all the stuff to become a citizen
waht?!
Soon we will have America full of people with flat nose and tiny eyes. She should come with visitor or any kind of visa and you can apply for change of status afterward.
Just send her an invitation for a visitor's visa. Once she's here marry her and send in the paperwork for permanent residency.
Is she in the states, or China? And if she comes here on a visitor's visa, you can marry her here, but she does have to go back before the visa expires. As long as you are an American citizen, your child is an American no matter where he/she's born.
Contact an immigration lawyer, but I suggest marry her here, she goes back, you sponsor her through marriage. As long as her background checks out, everything should be fine.
The questionis : CanYoiu get her to US???If youcan, thenmarry her here,if not-Go fiancee visa. More info dude, more info...
You should have gotten married first, dude.
