Would the following Constitutional Amendment help resolve the illegal alien problem?
Answer:
The bastardization of the intent of the 14th amendment also needs to be addressed. I like your amendment a lot. It certainly clarifies any and all confusion doesn't it ?
May I forward it to my congressmen and senators in Washington ?
just have one question in regards to that. would that include all children born here who's parents are illegal aliens? because lately that seems to be a major problem that a lot of people bring up. wether or not children of illegal aliens should be considered U.S citizens just because there were born here.
No. We have all the laws we need. They just need to be enforced for a change.
enforcement not more laws
Build the Wall
deport them all when found
Jail employers of the Illegal Alien Invader Rejects
We have all the laws we need to solve the issue. We've had them for years. ppl just aren't enforcing them! why? they want cheap labor.
I think first you have to get Bush and company to stop selling US citizenships for 10 bucks each. Growthies, growthies! LOLOL
No it won't solve the problem because we still need the will to enforce the laws flowing from the constitution. If we had the guts to do that, as we should, there would be no need for your amendment.
I think it is a slippery slope to deny people basic human rights (which is what the Constitution, especially the Bill of Rights, is all about) to someone simply because of immigration status.
EDIT: Just seen the additional details. You don't get it do you? I'm an immigrant (a legal one). I get annoyed at illegals and their corporate paymasters buggering up the economy. That is still no excuse to deny people the basic human rights that this country was founded to defend.
