Would I get into trouble if I married a man from Saudi Arabia or Pakistan so he can become a US citizen?

I really need the money and it is not like I would be selling drugs.

Answer:
Why would you want to help terrorists? I flagged your question and sent it to Homeland security. Let them do something if they like. Good Luck lol
it's your decision. but if your marrying him for the wrong reason's you will probably regret it.
Yes, it would be like selling drugs in that it is *illegal* to marry someone just to get them citizenship. The law exists so that people who are honestly in love and have committed themselves to each other don't have to be separated, but the number of people abusing that law just make things harder.
You'll have to find a state that allows gay marriage.
It would be trouble in one way or another and probably more headaches than you can imagine.
Don't do it.
Marrying this individual for the sole purpose of citizenship is in fact a crime.
Its immigration fraud. Homeland security is all over this type of thing now. Unless you want to be investigated from now till the end of the decade give it up.
That is illegal. But hell if our own government can break the law and get away with it than I say go for it.
You would get into a lot more trouble marrying some one just to become a US citizen., than selling drugs. It is very ILLEGAL to marry for money in a case like this. You better get more educated about this type thing, and stop being a fool. I can not see any one being that desperate.
Marriage is not a game. You should not get married unless you are truly in love and committed to being with each other forever. People like you are the reason our divorce rates are so high. If you really need money go get a job or two jobs or three jobs. There are other ways of providing for youself.
Get ready for the FBI to ring you doorbell
That is your decision, the lawyer might ask if you have children as proof. Other things as 5 years to 15 years evidence. Otherwise its FRAUD and Treason, life in imprison, exile to death penalty. Violation of the Preamble is death penalty, in some cases. Constitution jail time or money. The Preamble was modified also to include women, and minorities; look closer even biological non-homo erectus. Cro-Magnon and Neaderthals.
It's probably worse than selling drugs. If you really need the money, then just prostitute yourself. Thats pretty much what your doing now. Except you are endangering other people at the same time. Endangering the people around you, who now will have this illegal person with possible alterior motives(Terrorism, money laundering, theft etc etc) , being free, and having the SAME citizen rights as any of us who were born here, or who fought hard to get it. This man obviously wants to get in the country ILLEGALY b/c he LEGALLY can't get into the country. Do you want another 9/11? B/c that could be one of the many reason's why a lot of middle easterners are willing to have their secret groups front the money to Unkowing people like you... to get their people in the country. and you don't think anything of it. How else did half of these people who created 9/11 get into the country? Sure, some may have legally entered. But not all! Not the ones with criminal backrounds, probably like the person that you are now possibly going to subject your fellow american citizens too! You don't think its a big deal now, b.c you "need the money", but there is a lot of things at risk. American livelyhood. Plenty of people "need the money," but aren't willing to marry a total stranger to attain it, and more than likely get caught, b/c Nowadays they pay CLOSE attention to marriages, especially marriages to foreigners from the Middle east, as Biased as that may sounds, I'm sure you would agree. THere are so many steps involved in that process, and terrible consequences if you get caught. It's not worth if. You might as well sell drugs.
When attempting to get someone within the country thru marriage, you must sign different documents that the marriage is not a marriage of convenience (example - getting paid to marry). To do so means that you have committed a crime and could get you in serious trouble (fraud towards the United States immigration laws).

No matter what they say they are willing to pay - it isn't even going to begin to cover your bail and lawyers fees.
very bad plan indeed.... you'd be better off if the though never crossed your mind. VEry serious crime in itself, what happens if this "guy" turns out to be part of another terror plot, you would be potentially charged in aiding and being an accessory to any crime commited.
Yes it is illegal and why lower yourself, If you do that you should both be deported to his country
