Off the top of my head - I would think it is because they don't have the problems that the United States does because of proximity to Mexico and the massive influx of people bent on breaking the law to enter their country.
Face it, for someone from Mexico to get to Canada, they are going to have to fly there or take a long boat trip to get there - which means that they have money - which means that they have an education and going to be several rungs over than what the United States is getting with the massive influx over our southern borders of people that swim the river or pay far less than the cost of an airplane ticket from Mexico to Canada to a coyote. This type of person is going to be much less likely to be breaking the law than the type of persons coming into the United States over the southern borders.
Most of what the United States is getting are people that are far from educated. Many are not even able to read in the language that they speak in (which most of the time isn't even correct Spanish). I know this because I know a woman that works with people teaching "English as a Second Language" program and she has a nightmare of a time because almost everyone of them can't even read Spanish and their grammer is horrid.
Go back to Y! Espanol, you'll get a better reception.
Canada does not have even half of the wealth of the United States. We are the richest and most powerful country in the world. Canada only exist because the United States protects it.
Shhhhhhhh, get the Mexicans to take all their family to Canada , then have Canada to come get all these illegals here, they can have them all for free.
Not a lot of Mexicans go to Canada to work, while a lot of them go to the US to work. How many mexicans do you see in Canada compared to the number you see in California or somewhere like that. I bet you California will have a greater number than the whole of Canada.
