I have not personally had to do this, but looking around online I found a simple web site that spells it all out for you. seems to me that there should be mo trouble for you, since you have been here for so long.. I hope this helps, and dont take anyones crap..
good luck
It's called naturalization. Look up the ucis website, someone will probably post it for you
Go back to your country! I can tell you are hispanic because I smell taco's.
You seem to be pretty smart, unless some one else is writing this for you. You need to call Immigration. They are not going to throw you in jail, they will give you all the information you need to apply , do not be afraid to go to their office. You know all this already, I am sure of it. Do the right thing, do not be ignorant, get it done legally.
Don't do it, you get more benfits being illegal, sorry but it's true
You need to go back and start the process legally, and then make sure you pay back all the funds you got from the state and gov't, and then we wil consider, but you need to do it legally and do as expected by the iNS office,
What you have to do should be obvious - go thru the immigration process just like everyone else has to do.
You fill out the paperwork.
You made the comment, "I'm Hispanic, not stupid". I will take you at your word on that. But I might suggest that considering that the father of your child is a known felon with a bad record shows that you might just not be thinking as clearly as you should be on all matters.
Get you life straightened out. Become legal. If your not legal, you have no right to be within this country. Not written out of meanness, just telling you what the law represents about those in your situation.
