I am totally against it. They are trying to justify it economically by saying this expansion of Medi-Cal will reduce costs to emergency rooms by bringing illegals into a regular health care system. However, the current Medi-Cal which already provides care up to a point has led to a situation where our hospitals are swamped.
Worse, having the 'best benefit package for illegals' of the 50 states creates a magnet drawing illegals to the state. And THAT cost CA $10 billion last year, without the increased health costs. Worse, it has cost our children their right to a decent education.
