Would you stay or would you go??

To those of you that are against illegal immigrants...No one has a choice to be born to the country of their choice. What if you were born in a country that had a very low economy. Where everyone struggles to make money because there are hardly any jobs. Where your parents cannot even work because after they turn 40...they are considered to "old" to be able to work and no one will hire them. Where you could not even have a chance to get an education because you have to work instead of your parents. Where it is almost impossible to have a nice car...much less have money to buy nice clothes. And here is America that has everything, a chance to make life better for you and your family. A second chance to come to America and work to make money to support your family in Mexico. You would have to come illegally because they will not give you any kind of Visa or you have no chance of anything...Would you come to America??Or would you stay in the other country to live a low life?Truthfully

Answer:
Yes they would all come legally. yea right. Too bad that the legal was is not possible unless you have family here or you are very skilled(masters and up).
I would go of course. The legal way.
My family came here legally. I plan to move to Australia legally. If I cannot move there legally I will stay here or go elsewhere.

What part of illegal don't you understand?
i would go across the border for a better life hope and lazyiness dose not feed you
i would only go but only legally...

being Poor don't justify breaking the law!

Haiti is the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere so Mexico is better off then Haiti.
I think I would come to America legally. Just because you're from a poor country doesn't give you the right to hop the fence. And I've been to Mexico, it's not as third-worldish as it's made out to be. You are now free to give me lots of thumbs downs if you wish.
I would go because the U.S. mostly lets white europeans in and there is no other way.
This is simple.

Illegal=Stay home.

Legal=Welcome.

Pro-illegal supporters seem to forget the costs to the people of THIS Country.

Illegal is the laws' definition of these peoples status.
Exacly what part of that is so hard to comprehend.

Your argument is that of a strawman. It fails on its face because it presupposes a scenario based on assumption and speculation while failing to recognize the simple legal principle of illegality.
You're right, nobody chooses where to be born. But your example of what life is like for these people where they come from, sounds a lot like my life here in America. I have been working full time since 15 and my dad can't get a job here that's worth anything because nobody wants to hire someone who is 51 years old and won't be putting enough time into their company by their standards. He lost part of his hand working in a factory and can't do the job anymore, but can't get any help because of it.

Ya know, I bet they would hire him if there weren't illegals here to take the positions.

People are misinformed about the programs that are available to the U.S. residents. I was unable to get government assistance for college because, even though I've been on my own since 15, they base the need on your parents' income until you are 25.

And welfare doesn't pay squat when you really need it. I had no choice but to apply for it when I was put on strict bedrest while I was pregnant and couldn't work. You know what they would give me? $300 a month, and that's only if I would come to their office to fill out the paperwork even though I was medically restricted to my bed. My illegal next door neighbor gets more than that for her 3 anchor babies. My son's dad would have taken on a second job but guess who had all the available positions?

I have worked very hard to make my life better with no help from the taxpayers. While I pay taxes that take care of someone else, I can't be taken care of by them when I really need it. So I would either stay where I was and make it work, like I have done, or I would leave legally.
Too bad too sad. Sorry if that's rude but the overwhelming majority of illegal immigrants to the US do not come from the really bad countries.

I would much rather live in mexico then almost any sub-Saharan African nation. Its also better then China, India, Indonesia, Afghanistan, Pakistan, etc.

So in applying your logic shouldn't every person from those countries who wants to come here be first in line?

I know you won't answer that question but it just shows who the real racists are in this argument!

EDIT EDIT EDIT: drdoom below me makes the biggest point of all - can't feed 'em don't breed 'em!!
God this just shows how criminal minded these people are!
IIlegal Illegal Illegal, comprende?!
You dont seem to be getting it.
Life isnt fair, and nothing in life is FREE.
There are far more people who are worse off than mexicans.
Its not just about you, and thats what the problem seems to be as well.

Hate to break this to you but i'm American born and this pretty much sums up my life, many of my fellow Americans are in the same boat. The illegals are making it even worse for us working poor. Questions like yours just piss me off because you obviously aren't in a position where illegal immigration effects you, therefore you feel no compassion for your own countrymen. You'd rather us rot and die so you can feel politically correct.
If I lived in such a Country, I would not bring a Child, into the
World, that in itself would be a far greater sin.
waa waaa waaaa... THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR NOT DOING THINGS "THE LEGAL WAY" IF ONE OF THEM CAN DO IT ALL 12 BILLION OF THEM CAN. THEY ARE HERE ILLEGALLY AND THAT MAKES THEM CRIMINALS. IF MY FAMILY WERE POOR WOULD IT BE ACCEPTABLE FOR ME TO BREAK INTO PEOPLES HOUSES SO WE COULD HAVE A BETTER LIFE? NO IT WOULD NOT SO WHY IS IT ACCEPTABLE FOR ILLEGALS TO BREAK INTO OUR COUNTRY?
Don't forget that the country of their birth might be corrupt and has failed it's people and they don't have a voice, and so the people come here to the US.

And to answer this, yes I would come here 'illegally" (if nothing else works) to live a better life, and just to let you know, my intentions coming would never be to break the law. I would have no choice.
I would ABSOLUTELY come to America. I would go through the process to become a LEGAL American citizen.
People aren't anti immigration, we are anti ILLEGAL immigration. Why, please tell me, why oh why is that so hard for you bleeding hearts to understand?
I would not want to escape to a country where I was in constant fear of being deported.
Anyone who has been found to be here illegally should be immediately deported and permanently disqualified from applying for American citizenship.
This has got to stop.
I would not go to another country and burden them with my inability to support myself or take away from others. I would want to be a productive self sustaining citizen and if that means that I have to stand in line for five years than that is what I would do. I live next door to Mexico and have been there countless times, your description of Mexico is really off target.
You make it sound like a barren land of mud huts and naked natives running around eating lizards.
dont waste your time trying to explain this to the people in this category , haven't you check that most of them are against us?
I would be walking to America if I was born in Mexico. I have never been to Mexico, but I have seen it from El Paso and its not a place anyone would want to live.
Vanessa,==i,m fully aware of the misery plenty of people are living in there own country..-and if i would live under such poor living standard's ,i would try ==[ legal or not so legal ]== to enter the united States of America,,,,but the USA is a land of law ,,,and if you enter the USA illegal you are a criminal ,,and will and must be punished under such law - by either a jail term,, or mediate deportation back to there country of or gin ...try to immigrate to the USA the legal way as a labourer -- you will never be accepted,,,but as an illegal you probably Recife amnesty.-- what a crazy world we live in,.
Thuthfully,I come from a family of fighters. We would stay and change our own country for the better.
