Border Patrol agents in San Diego stop nearly 400 illegal border crossers each day.
"We have five or six a day; that's just on a day shift," said Border Patrol agent Tim Feige.
There is no telling how many they don?t stop.
"We never know what they're here for or what their intentions are," added Feige.
10News joined agents on patrol and saw firsthand what they face. In one incident, two men and one woman tried to sneak by right in front of agents. They first hid and then surrendered. The group turned out to be Mexican citizens with no criminal records, and they were processed and sent back to Mexico.

By not closing the borders in order to be able to check who is crossing them , the Government is leaving American citizens open to attacks ,by unknown enemies .
Tell me , what good does it do to fight the terrorist in Iraq , when we can't keep them out and from crossing the borders into the US . Home Land Security is a joke , as far as protecting American Citizens .

Since Bush took office (and I mean took in every sense of the word...twice over) we have a lot of people who want to sneak in here and do us harm!
The main thing is we should not offend Mexico.They might reconsider and not send their poor over here.

For these and many other reasons, open borders must never happen. We must control our borders and ports. We have got to know who is coming here, and why they are here.
i'm very happy they was able to stop the terrorist. this is bushes fault. we need the border fence up asap. bushes brains is you know where.
