I live in a small town in the Midwest.. population 8000 and I happen to work for the police dept. the gangs we see are unfortunately all Latin..Norteños, Sur 14, Latin Kings, Latin Jokers, I could go on and on. We had no gang or random violence problems until the Hispanic gangs started to form. You used to be able to sleep with your doors unlocked.. now you can't even leave your car running while running in to buy a soda at the convenience store. Purses stolen out of cars, etc. It is not a racist thing. I myself am married to a Hispanic man (although not the same race as those that are here) It is however a sad truth.

Hispanic gangs are indeed a problem that is getting worse here in America. Our government is not protecting us from illegal aliens so what is the American citizen supposed to do? Obviously we're going to have to protect ourselves.

Gangs overall, regardless of their race/ethnic background are dangerous, singling out the hispanics simply because some of the members of that local chapter are here illegally reeks of ignorance and racial profiling. One reason that all gangs are becoming more and more rampant is due to the rise in violent crime ever since Bush took office. He underhandedly cut funding for the police that would increse the number of police on patrol and also the funding for many organizations who work with at-risk people to help them get a better life which they deserve to have to begin with.
I think they are growing... what we need to do is... gather them all up and send them to Iraq and see how they cope with the war.. instead of sending 20.000 military personal..

Becoming..is an understatement, Hispanic gangs are the most prominant and dangerous. Honestly, not because they are Hispanic, it is just a proven fact. Ofcourse there are other ganngs in the U.S, but they are the most organized.
I like Hispanic gangs. They help keep the yuppies in L.A. in check. When you see some Hollywood exec in his Boxer get rolled up by a carload of cholos at any given intersection, it's fun to watch the sell-out squirm and pretend he's on his cellphone. The cholos enjoy it too. :)
