Contact an Immigration attorney for a confidential interview.
Your son is legal because he was born here. If he is under a certain age, you cannot be deported due to the fact that he is dependent on you. Speak to INS and explain to them your situation and you should not have any issues with becoming a Naturalized Citizen.
Ask the immigration department...
Ask an immigration lawyer..
yea, contact an immigration attorney to get it all straightened out.
what type of felony? Can he have his record expunged? See an attorney about that.
Second, go to the office of your U.S. Congress person. Explain the situation. Tell them you want to apply for legal residence. You might want to consider marrying your son's father? Is this possibility? I hope.
Explain the situation to these people. They will not turn you in to the immigration people; that is not their job and they will try to help you if they can. But you have to make the first step.
Do you have family in the country of origin? If so, would it be possible for you to live with them while your Visa application is being considered? Your child was born here? Is a U.S. Citizen by birth? That will be on your side.
Do the right thing. Do not spend your life living in fear of being deported. What kind of life is that?
Good luck.
I think he can't help you to get you legal status fix...I do recommend that you go to a expert on nmigration...Because depends when this happend and what kind the felony is about it...They will check on you have for sure if you do have any kind of felony...But about him not really sure depends the felony ask an expert of Inmigrations=Lawyer

Where we once were many,we are now small in number but we will dance to the god of wind to blow you, and invaders like you from our shores, where once more the wolf and buffalo will be plenty upon the land and we, the Souix, Crow , Blackfoot and all my brothers can live in harmony.
