I am a pro golfer under a p1 visa, i have been offered a job with the tour. How do i change visa?

The job opportunity is for the same tour i have been playing for the past four years. How much does it cost? How long is the process? Do I have to have my application in by April 1st?

Answer:
If you are working for the tour, they should be the one's responsible for obtaining your work visa. I know of head hunters for nurses here in the US and the employer has to pay for all costs involved in the employment of an alien to the US.
Your are dreaming, your haven't been ask to go tour. You sure do dream a lot that's okay everyone needs to have a dream.
Are you thinking of changing to an H1B (Worker) or Adjusting to a Permanent Resident?

P1 Status is elegible for adjustement to become a Permanent Resident (Green Card) in the United States. If they are offering you a permanent job, you may want to consider either of those two options.

You may also want to consider staying on your P1 Visa. If I'm not mistaken, you should be able to work with multiple employers on it... I'd check to be sure.

Lastly, just call USCIS to be sure of what you are doing.
