Well Lets see, their government is corrupt.It's been compared to Iraq under Saddam but without the genocide.There is 2 classes of people,the very rich and the very poor.I'm not talking our kind of poor.I'm talking have you ever camped in a tent in the woods kind of poor.Without electric,toilets,firewood,or a vehicle.Guess what they aren't allowed to cut wood either it's illegal.So they have to walk to the nearest town and buy it from an agency usually government run and the town is sometimes 10 to 20 miles away.They don't have a police force they have a Military force who roam the streets with miltary rifles.To get a visa your family saves everything they can and hopefully someone is in the U S sending money home so you can pay not only the visa FEES but also the corrupt official who takes your application.There does that about cover it or do you want to know more because there is much more.

In Oaxaca state they're actually having to let Guatemalans live there because so many workers have emmigrated to the USA that there aren't enough Mexicans left to grow food.
I'm sure you could find work in agriculture.
