I'm 20 yrs old, my dad is an american citizen, can I apply for a greencard or citizenship???

Answer:
Was he an American when you were born? If he was then you are too, no matter where you were born. If you haven't taken care of the paperwork you likely need to apply through immigration, but they will just verify your information, it should not take very long.
If your father is an american citizen, you shouldn't have to. You should automatically be a citizen. Where were you born?
if ur dad is an american citizen..I do believe u automatically become one. I could be wrong.
If your dad is American so are you.
What matters is if you were born in the states. If you were not, then you are not, at least that's how I think it goes.
I assume that your father is a naturalized citizen. If that is the case, you can only get automatic citizenship if your father applied for you before the age of majority, which is 18 years old. I remember there was another category for children under 21 years old, if that child is unmarried and without children, but I'm unsure. Have your dad consult an immigration attorney, usually they will give free consultation. If you don't fit in the above categories, you can still apply, but it may take awhile. Good Luck.
