How can I obtain French citizenship if I am a USA Citizen?

With 5-6 weeks paid vacation/year, great food/wine, sexy women and free healthcare, it is a very appealing country.

Answer:
There are several ways :
- if you're born in France, and if you have lived in France for 5 years since you're 11
- by "declaration", if you marry with a French after 2 years of common living, if you made nothing wrong (no "indignity") and if there is no "assimilation problem" (judged by authorities)
- by "authority decision", if you live in France for 5 years (in some cases, it can be less), have your material and familial interests in France, if you live with a French or have children that are French... It may sound complicated, but 80% of cases are positively judged in this case.

And of course, learn French :)
