I agree. call your congressmen and women. write letters to the paper, go to rallies.
If they work legally they have to pay taxes. If they work illegally it is the fault of those who hire them. Stop people from hiring illegal immigrants and you will put an end to most of this problem.
By enacting a "Shoot to Kill" law for the mexicrap that sneaks through the borders.

They do pay taxes. They use fake ss numbers and taxes are take out of their check but at the end of the year they do not receive a return. The government removes the social security tax from their check and they will never receive social security so in fact they pay higher taxes then citizens. They pay rent like the rest of us and the property tax is included in the cost of rent. They buy things at the store and pay sales tax.
All legal immigrants must pay taxes. If you are talking about the undocumented workers who are getting paid cash and not filing taxes, well there is only one thing we can do, grant them some kind of legal status to work in the U.S., then they will be required to pay taxes. As it is now, those worker don't file and pay taxes because once they do, Homeland Security will pick them up and send them back to their respective countries
WOW i didn't even know that..... i am sure if alot of the senators and people up there in our gov can make the changes so they would have to pay taxes. just like that / over night if they wanted too but they won't. Cheap labor is the way to go.. and these companies are gonna do all they can to keep it that way even if it means that the illegals won't have to pay taxes..

Everyone who works in the US has to pay taxes weather they are "legal" or "Illegal" The "Illegals" who work with fake documents pay taxes just like you, except they can't file for a return, unless they use their real names then they get an Id number from the IRS. Every time they buy something in a store they pay sales taxes just like everyone else. Why don't you worry about ALL the people who don't pay taxes, and not just the "illegals". I am sure there are a lot of Americans who don't pay taxes.

same sh.it of you think about it these people suffered most of their lives with low wages and on rare occasions with no food now cant they enjoy there 7 years while you have already enjoyed your frist 16 or so years living with mommy and daddy? ............
You shouldn't really blame these immigrants, because these people are hired as illegal and paid under the table. So Its these business owners and contractors making this happen, blame them. I know this for a fact as a carpenter.
