Hello, go to the American consulate in that country and hope you have left your birth record since that some that you will call needs to fetch it to get your new passport. when you leave the country have an emergency contact available to get things like this. Make copies of important doc's know where the American consulate is in non stated country and please keep up with travel warnings and terror alerts.
Go to the nearest US Embassy and report it lost. They will help you right away.
You have to go to the US embusy they can get a replacement
