Why are America Children going hungry while the pro legal blame young kids at age 10 for not having a job?

The pro legal say our American kids should be out there working instead of sitting around worrying about where the next meal is coming from. For instance the kids could pick fruit they say not only could they have free food but also a daily wage. Pro legal have turned their backs on our kids. Instead they are more concern with grown men and women in the country illeaglly having their needs met before our kids needs are met. Our kids are going hungry every day only to find the needs of Mexico come before our own kids who are going hungry wondering while illegal aliens are well taken care of but they are not. Why is Mexico's needs put before our kids who go to bed hungry every night?

Hey I used to pick berries when I was younger. I loved it. I had alot of fun. And I'm a blonde haired white chick. Our kids are probably going hungry due to the fact that the parents either don't work, or don't want to work.They are just plain lazy. It's not the kids fault, it is the parents fault.

American children going hungry???? Geeeez, I saw a report on how half or more then half of US children are overweight.

I dont remember anyone saying that 10 year olds should break child labor laws and work. Our government pays welfare to families without income that have kids. Mexico doesnt offer that. Imagine why Mexicans are coming here to work hard and take care of them. No one is saying that our kids shouldnt eat, but kids are kids, an American kid is no more deserving of food than a Mexican one!
Seeing that 65% of our children are overweight,I doubt if any of them is dying of hunger.I used to deliver papers when I was 8 years old and got my first real job when I was 14.I constantly donate non-perishable goods to the local food-bank for American kids,so stop generalizing as usual.
