If you are a Citizen of Canada or a Legal Residence of Canada..?

can you stay in the U.S as long as you want, or is their a time limit?

Answer:
Canadian citizens may visit in the USA for up to 3 months at a time. Legal residents of Canada would depend on what country they hold citizenship in, but most likely would also be 3 months.
Good Luck!
There is a time limit, but I'm not sure what it is. Seems like 90 days, but that might have changed since 9/11. Check www.dhs.gov. You might find an answer there, or a phone number to call and ask.
just to add one to what other people are saying

as a Citizen of Canada, you can go back repeatedly. it's not like it's 90 days, then you have to go back for a year before you can use them up again.

it's not like vacation days at work...
