Why are illegal Hispanics comparing their cause to MLK's Civil Rights Movement?

They are doing it just to make noise!! They know they have no legal rights in the US so they think they can come into the US and just take over! They don't care about American laws or American citizens. What part of illegal don't they understand????
American women, then African Americans were fighting for civil rights. As American citizens, they had every right to fight for those civil rights. Illegals don't have any rights because they are not US Citizens!!
Every American (white, black, asian, european, etc) needs to stand up against illegal immigration!!!!
They are grasping at straws.
Some are even referring being illegal as a race or they say your racist is you are against illegals.
I'm angry that our politicians have sold us out.

EDIT: Where did you get your information from? Carlos Mencia? Chris Rock? Or a Gallup survey, perhaps? Information gleaned from personal experience and tainted with personal bias in either direction is never "truth" or "fact". The African Americans aren't going to speak out cause they went through the same racial profiling the Mexicans are going through. If you are so pissed off then go do something about it. They can march in a parade if they want to. Gay people march in parades for rights. Black people march in parades for rights. So what is the problem? Where I live in the Pacific NW. We have problems with kids shooting other kids due to the fact that they get teased so much. Either because they are nerds, or because they are a different color. Sad but true.

As I recall Dr. King was all for law abiding protest. How does that include those illegally here?
African American Community is alot smarter than you think. The community understands and remember history. It is myth that African American & Mexicans do not get along. The call for amnesty for undocumented aliens is a civil rights issue. I don't agree with it, but from a legal perspective there are parallels with MLK's political activism of the 1960s.
With undocumented aliens, as was the case with black americans, there are double standards and hypocrisy. Millions of corporations, companies, and private contractors knowingly employ undocumented aliens, paying poverty wages, and denying medical benefits, thus leaving american taxpayers to foot the bill for emergency medical coverage for injuries and sicknesses that ironically are propogated at the workplace. Further, these employers of illegal aliens circumvent collective bargaining with unions, thus eliminating jobs held by american citizens. In the meantime, corporate executives line their pockets with bonuses and stock options from improved bottom lines resulting from reduced labor costs. Oh, and by the way, these employers take out income and social security taxes from the undocumented workers.
Further, we see millions of private citizens. hiring undocumented nannies, gardeners, landscapers, babysitters and housekeepers knowing full well that they are undocumented. We also see millions of citizens patronizing businesses that hire illegal aliens.
So, you see, there are human rights and civil rights issues. Companies and individuals continue to hire undocumented workers, and reap the benefits of cheap labor, and turn around and complain about illegal immigrants coming into the US.
You can't have it both ways. If you are offering jobs to aliens, at least give them some sort of legal status. If you don't want illegal aliens here, then don't offer them jobs.
Oh, they'll say anything to try to justify their being in the USA ILLEGALLY:

"All Americans are immigrants", or
"Even the Native Americans are immigrants"
"There's no such thing as an American"
"People from the USA are "United Statesians" (not), or

I agree with your last statement although I hate to declare it publicaly because it might make me sound rascist without people knowing me personaly lol. But Mexican and blacks do have a history of hating each other, or atleast in my area! I also live in Tx, around Dallas and that's the main reason of fights because of gang fights and there always opposite colors (mexican and black). I remember being in 9th grade and our school got evacuated early because of a mexican gang was going to do a drive by right when the school let out and to a rival black gang; someone was shot who made someone angry who went and killed one of the rivals just stupid. And there was another real bad one that let a full out riot (same above reason) at my school and they had helicopters, canines, the cops had shotguns, m16's, police going into dirt fields with there damn cars going crazy chasing kids down to stop fighting because they didn't know if people were going to start shooting.
And not even mention all the damn damage that the mexicans did last year when they protested to Dallas in our downtown area. They all looked stupid and immature, kids cutting class just to be on tv and to destroy the city. That's the way to make a name for yourself.
